Hey guys! 🙂
So the long-awaited summer vacation is finally here! Unlike many others, I do not have any travel plans lined up for me. Unless you consider going slightly up north for staff retreat as one of it. Hahah.
As a graduating student, this is going to be my last break before I step into the working world and be a full-fledged adult. I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about it. I’m excited (and a little scared, of course!) because with the types of jobs that I’ve applied for, I’ll be thrown into something different from what I’ve been doing thus far.
While waiting for replies, I made it a point to enjoy the time I have left. It’s the second week of holidays now, and so far I have been:
- Running in the mornings
- Reading travel articles
- Learning to bake sweet treats from my mom
- Doing publicity stuff for a school event
- Sending out my resume (heheh!)
There are things that I have yet to do too!
- Retouch brother’s honeymoon photos
- Design dresses (for a friend and myself)
- Learn to cook
- Meet my friends
To be honest, the second list is endless. The four above are the pressing ones that I should kick start soon.
Anyway! I mentioned baking, right? Check these out! 🙂
Mom told me to get started immediately after I suggested replacing white bread with wholemeal bread in her Bread and Butter Pudding. ‘Twas considered my first baking/cooking lesson with her. Talk about being spontaneous. Hahah. It’s not that hard to make, I must say. 🙂
Today sissy and I learnt how to make these Apam filled with Nutella right after breakfast. They are slightly harder to prepare if compared to the Bread and Butter Pudding above. The taste? They are really sweet, soft and chewy! 🙂
Alright, it’s time to get off this laptop and get ready for tuition. Will keep this space updated with fun stuff as often as possible, promise! Enjoy your weekend/summer, m’dears! :*
