💖HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!✨ Every year I wish and thank both my mother and mother-in-law for setting the best examples and also having big shoes for me to fill. 😅

This year, however, I’d like to include several other women in my post. They are my enabling bunch of mommies I report to around the clock on a daily basis. 🗓

Why are they enablers, you might ask. We’re in a stressful situation, friends. We’re on mommy duty 24/7 ever since the Circuit Breaker was implemented. So, we allow one another to postpone our healthy diets and take comfort in our cups of bubble tea.. before the extension. 😭 I’m glad Ramadhan started soon after so we don’t miss it that much. But recently we’ve resorted to online shopping, I just can’t. 😂🤪💸 I believe we’re not the only ones and I’m sure there are many mom tribes out there who support one another in both good and bad times. 💪🏻 If this post resonates with you and reminds you of your mom friends, tag them in the comments and share with them in your stories! Good day, friends! So the other day @_nzry and I compiled tons of questions from you guys on vaccination and we’ve decided to answer them in parts. 🧪

Today’s first instalment to the series simply addresses how our immune system works to fight an infection, and how vaccination helps it to develop immunity against preventable diseases that used to kill many in the past without actually causing an illness. 🩺

For those who asked whether vaccines actually work because they’ve had experiences of falling sick even after getting vaccinated - yes, they do. You may still catch a flu, but your recovery is much better than before. 💪🏻 We hope this helps you better understand how our immune system works and how vaccination helps it! 😊
